RED SHOES AND THE SEVEN DWARFS

The major thematic content emanates from the trope, appearance versus reality. The overweight Snow White who is transformed into a super-svelte Red Shoes, and the young and buff males who are cursed into dwarfs, is intended to challenge social prejudices related to standards of physical beauty in society by emphasising the importance of inner beauty and knowing oneself.
