Occupation Rainfall is an Australian science fiction adventure film in which a group of survivors must battle an invading alien army in a post-apocalyptic Sydney.

Themes

The film involves an alien invasion of Earth in which Sydney is destroyed by an asteroid and humans must escape the invasion. The film includes humanoid aliens, oversized alien insects and an alien bioweapon. The film also includes aliens being tortured by humans, discussions of people being killed by aliens and the threat of alien genocide.

Violence

The film includes science fiction violence in which characters shoot laser weapons, real-world assault rifles and machine guns, grenades and swords. The film also includes aerial dogfights between human fighter pilots and alien drone ships. The film includes minimal blood detail and alien blood detail.
