Our enhanced search functionality makes it quick and simple to access information about classification. You can search for a classification of a film, computer game or publication (where applicable) in the search bar at the top of the page or fast track to the latest decisions for film or games.

As well as the classification rating and consumer advice, you can now get more detailed information about the content of new release films at the cinema.

We explain what the ratings mean, what’s ok for children, and how a rating is decided. There’s also videos about the ratings, consumer advice and how to use them for film and games.

For industry, we have all the information you need on getting content classified. You can also stay up to date with the latest news and media releases. And for those who need it you’ll find everything you need to know about our classification system right here.
