New Classification Portal coming soon
Following consultation with key industry users, a new Classification Application Portal (the Portal) has been developed to make it easier and faster to submit your application to the Classification Board.
The new Portal, which is set to launch on 21 November 2022, has a new and improved look and feel as well as enhanced functionality. Key features and benefits include:
- An easier user interface which reduces the amount of time it takes to submit an application.
- The ability to manage finances including visibility of up to date organisational balances, recent transactions and receipts.
- Reduction in use of paper-based forms with all necessary application information now available online.
- Increased self-service functionality with an updated set of email notifications and on-system updates – including automated generation and retrieval of Classification Certificates.
- Improved integration with Box with a simpler content upload facility.
The Portal will also guide you through each type of application, ensuring you only enter information that is required for each application category.
To ensure a smooth transition to the new Portal, there will be a shutdown period from 5:00pm (AEST) Thursday 17 November until 9:00am (AEST) Monday 21 November 2022.
