New appointments to the Classification Review Board

The Australian Government has appointed Ms Susan Bush as Deputy Convener and Mr David Toll as Member to the Classification Review Board for a three-year term from 7 December 2021.

Both members bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Classification Review Board that will enable them to understand diverse community standards and support the membership of the Classification Review Board being broadly representative of the Australian community.

Ms Bush has been a member of the Classification Review Board since December 2018. She has a wealth of experience in the Television, Broadcast, Film, and Publishing industries in Australia, the UK, and Qatar. Currently she works as a Writer, Actor, Voice-Over Artist, and Transcriber. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Griffith University and a Master of Arts from the University of Queensland.

Mr Toll is the owner and director of a mediation, investigation and negotiation business. Prior to this he held senior leadership roles in higher education and emergency services. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wollongong and Masters in Business Administration from Edith Cowan University. He also holds a Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and further qualifications in mediation, negotiation and media studies.
