Final chance to have your say on Australia’s classification regulation
Submissions on the future design of Australia’s classification regulation are due by 19 February 2020.
The consultation period for the review of Australia’s classification regulation is ending soon with submissions due by 5pm (AEDT) 19 February 2020.
If you would like to share your views, there is still time to provide a submission.
The review is looking at ways to develop a modern Australian classification framework that reflects today’s digital environment and meets the needs of industry, while continuing to provide appropriate information and protections for Australians.
The review covers content delivery platforms including broadcasting services, online stores and services, cinema releases and physical media (boxed video games and DVDs), and is also considering updates to the National Classification Code and classification guidelines.
Independent expert, Mr Neville Stevens AO, is leading the review.
Submissions close at 5pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, 19 February 2020.
